Mr. Franz's professional background includes over 32 years of experience in
architectural design and production of construction documents for a variety
of commercial, institutional, educational, industrial and governmental facilities.
Major Projects:
Major projects include the Main Post Office in Crowley, Texas; 20
story Davis Building Renovation in Dallas, Texas; General Dynamics
Renovation of Office and Shop Areas, Fort Worth Division; Passive Solar
Residence in Fort Worth, Texas; Lone Star Cadillac in Dallas, Texas;
The Texas and Cherry Street Building in Fort Worth, Texas; Franz Residence
Addition in Weatherford, Texas; Teen Challenge Renovation and Addition
in Fort Worth, Texas; Hallman Residence in Fort Worth, Texas; as well
as many Retail Stores that include Blockbuster, Radio Shack, Alex and
Ivey, and Bombay ranging in states from California to New York.
Experiance:
Prior to the formation of Franz Jeanes Lazo Cora & Associates,
Inc., Mr. Franz was Project Architect for other firms and was responsible
for a number of successfully completed facilities. These include a
new prison for The Texas Department of Corrections; Renovation of Unaccompanied
Enlisted Personnel Housing, Carswell AFB, Texas; Renovation of Ferguson
State Farm, Midway, Texas; Columbia High School Addition and Remodeling,
West Columbia, Texas; Lakewood Forest Elementary School, Houston, Texas;
Miller Brewing and Can Plant, Reidsville, North Carolina; Creole Tenant
Space Layout, Houston, Texas; Conoco Aviation Facility, Houston, Texas;
Western Company Office Building, Fort Worth, Texas; and Birdville School
Air Conditioning Remodeling, Haltom City, Texas.
Education:
Mr. Franz graduated from Tarrant County Junior College with an Associate
of Arts Degree and from the University of Texas at Arlington with a
Bachelor Science Degree in Architecture. Mr. Franz has obtained a National
Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate.
